What it costs.
Every house has a different roofline, so the final number comes from measuring yours. The quote is free and there's no obligation.
A typical Calgary bungalow roofline runs 120 to 160 feet. Micro-mesh costs more than standard aluminum and is worth it under spruce, where the debris is fine enough to pass straight through a wider mesh - we'll tell you which one your house actually needs.
Prices are for jobs inside Calgary. Outside the city there's a $24.99 fuel surcharge.

Half a day for most homes, including the clean that goes first.

- The eaves cleaned and flushed first - guards over a dirty trough are pointless
- Guards cut and fitted to your trough profile, not a one-size roll
- Fastened under the shingle course or to the trough lip, whichever your roof calls for
- Downspout screens where the run needs them
Not included
- Guards on eaves that are sagging or pulling away - those need re-hanging first
- A promise you'll never clean your gutters again (see the FAQ, we'd rather be straight with you)
Questions we actually get.
Are gutter guards worth it in Calgary?
For most homes under trees, yes - they turn an annual clean into a check every few years. They're most worth it on two- and three-storey homes, where the cost of getting someone up there is what you're really paying for. On a bungalow with no overhanging trees, the honest answer is probably not.
Will I never have to clean my gutters again?
No, and anyone promising that is selling you something. Guards stop leaves and twigs. Fine grit, shingle granules and spruce needles still get through and need clearing every few years. What guards actually buy you is far fewer clogs and no more autumn emergencies.
What about ice and freeze-thaw?
Guards don't cause ice dams and they don't cure them - ice dams come from heat escaping your attic. What guards do help with is keeping the trough clear so meltwater has somewhere to go during a chinook instead of pooling and refreezing.
